国语学生团契目标宣言

存在目的
我们相信，神在晓士顿中国教会设立国语学生团契，乃是要差遣我们往休士顿地区的华人学生学者当中去，向他们传播基督的福音；
我们相信，团契是要为基督徒学生学者的彼此相交，彼此造就提供合宜的场所和实际的帮助；
我们也相信，团契作为教会合一身体的一部分，是为了更有效地实现教会对学生工作的目标。

使命宣言
向休士顿地区各大学和研究机构中讲国语的学生，学者宣讲纯正的福音信息，呼召他们接受耶稣基督为其个人的救主，使用教会和团契的资源栽培他们成为热爱神的话语，有传福音的使命感，积极参与教会与团契生活的基督徒。

策 略
通过接触，关怀慕道友，邀请他们参加团契和教会的活动。
通过团契福音组合教会福音主日向慕道友宣讲福音信息，并呼召他们接受耶稣基督为其个人的救主。
对初信者进行基要信仰和基督徒生活原则的扶立，鼓励他们在教会受洗以见证其信仰。
带领初信者参加主日崇拜，建立基督徒应该参加主日崇拜的观念。
带领初信者参加主日学，建立自行研读神话语的习惯。
带领契友参加基督徒小组，建立基督徒彼此相交的观念。
鼓励契友参加传福音训练，建立传福音的使命感。
鼓励契友参与教会服事，建立基督徒应该委身教会的观念。
鼓励契友参与团契的祷告会和灵修程序，建立个人良好的祷告和灵修习惯。

What We Believe

God is self-existent, creator of heaven and earth, and of all mankind. He is the only true God-Father, Son and Holy Spirit, three in one.

Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of God, the Word incarnate, conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary. He was crucified and died on the cross to atone for the sins of Man. He was resurrected, ascended into Heaven, and is the mediator between God and Man.

The Holy Spirit is Comforter to the believers. He convicts people of sin and leads them to repentance. He abides forever with believers, leads them into the truth, and sanctifies them.

The Bible, consisting of sixty-six books, is inspired by God. It is the perfect truth, it changes not, and is the sole basis for doctrine and deed.

Man is created by God according to His image, and is depraved because of sin. Man must be born again by the Holy Spirit through faith in Jesus Christ unto salvation and remission of sin in order to enter into the kingdom of God.

The Church is the body of Christ, who is its head. The Church is the family of God, consisting of all born again Christians.

Jesus Christ shall come again to establish the eternal kingdom. On the last day, all men shall be resurrected, the believer resurrected unto eternal life, the unbeliever resurrected unto eternal destruction
